Out A Challenge
March
10 , 2010 - For Immediate Release
Mike Tritle is a racer. Heís a pretty good sportsman racer in the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) and True Street series,
in the Nostalgia Muscle Car and Open Comp classes. Mike Tritle is a well-known performance aftermarket technical sales specialist
from his career at AutoMeter and other employers. Mike Tritle is also one who believes you back up your words with commitment.
At the recently concluded Winnerís Circle Warehouse Race & Performance Show at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois,
Mike made a commitment to Traci Hrudka, Chairman of the Quarter Mile Entertainment Foundation to contribute 25 percent of his 2010
seasonís GROSS winnings to PROJECT 1320.
He said, ìPROJECT 1320 targets something very dear to me, and that is the preservation of the history of drag racing and the performance
aftermarket. The sport and the industry have provided me with a job, given me enjoyment over the years, and provided me with a large
group of treasured friends and acquaintances. I feel PROJECT 1320 is necessary to protect our heritage, and I understand the need to get
to the legends and heroes of the sport and the industry to tell our story before these irreplaceable voices are silenced.
ìI am not only willing to support this effort with a share of my winnings, but I am throwing down my driving gloves as a challenge to
every drag racer in the U.S. and Canada to do the same thing! I am not only including the purse winnings, but also my contingency awards.î
Traci Hrudka said, ìSpeaking for the Board of the Foundation, we are stunned and so appreciative of Mikeís more than generous offer! For Mike,
and others who participate in his challenge, there is an added benefit of a tax deductable contribution.î
Additional information about the PROJECT 1320 Racerís Challenge program will be available shortly. Immediate questions should be directed to
Traci Hrudka at hrudka@sbcglobal.net.
